Living, Learning, Proclaiming God’s Truth With Passion

God's Word changes lives. It's changed us, and it's changed the hearts of so many people that we know and love. We really believe it can change the world. It is the only way we have to really get to know God Himself. As we look around at our world today, we see that knowing God's Word seems to have ebbed to a low. We aim to remedy that.

We need to know the Bible. We must get back to learning. reading, memorizing and meditating on it. Psalm 119:11 says "I have hidden your word in my heart so that I will not sin against you". Storing His Word in our heads and in our hearts is essential for walking with God.

Merely knowing stuff about the Bible is never the point. The point is to get to know the God of the Bible. While the Bible can be memorized and studied much like a text book, God Himself is no tame lion! We get to know Him as A PERSON. Getting to know God well can only come through experience. It's a daily relationship and it goes hand in hand with knowing His Word.

Now the core of it all, the reason behind all this knowledge that makes it all tick, is Love. If we do not grow in our love for God, and in the understanding of His love for us, every scrap of knowledge we gain counts for nothing. We who follow Jesus must deepen our passion for Him, or else none of this matters.

So we suppose you might call this the tri-unity of following God; encyclopedic knowledge of the Scriptures; experiential knowledge of God Himself; and a growing passion for Jesus. We believe that these are in short supply in Christendom today, and we want to change that. Veritas Bible Institute is our answer for this.

We are merely Christians. We affirm the orthodox expression of faith as it has been passed down for 2,000 years. We are nondenominational, and we mean to light a fire of knowledge and passion to reawaken God's Church and reach the lost for His kingdom.

Students grow through challenging acedemics, practical training experiences, and an unparalleled spiritual atmosphere.

Areas of Study

Learning - Who Is Jesus

The most important question in anybody's life is "who IS Jesus Christ?" All eternity rests on Him. To "know Jesus" is more than just knowing facts about Him. It's having a relationship with Him. It's trusting Him. Like any strong relationship, it's wanting to be in His presence. And we do that through His inspired Word. We'll look at Jesus from all four gospels. We'll look at Jesus as True God and True Man. What's that mean for our lives? What's it mean for us that He has all power, that He knows everything, that He's present with you everywhere? And what about His Mercy? His Grace? His Compassion? He never changes. The same Jesus we see in God's Word is the very same Jesus in our lives today. Your life will change the deeper you know Him. And there's so much more.

Proclaiming - God Has A Plan

The plan of God to redeem mankind began in the third chapter of Genesis and from there God laid out The Who , when , and why so we would be able to understand His solution for our condition. The Old Testament is filled with God working out history to get us ready for the day Jesus appeared on this planet. The story is phenomenal . We will be looking at God, who He is through the lense of The Old Testament.

Living - Developing A Passion For Jesus Christ

The ancient Hebrews believed that the heart was the Core of a man. Even to this day it means something when we say, "I love you with all my heart." In fact, Romance is the Great Adventure of life! It is the point for which God created. This great Love Story--between God and us--makes no sense if we approach Jesus as a mere academic prospect. We must see Him as He is: the infinite, personal God of the universe actively loving us, and offering Himself up to be loved.

In this class we will explore how Christians have cherished Jesus in ages past, and how we can experience passion for Him today.

Apologetics - The Truthfulness of Christianity

Students will learn that the problem of evil is not really a problem at all. And though it is a major stumbling block for nonbelievers to overcome, and for Christians to justify, the believer will gain a logical understanding of how evil proves the necessity for a God, and not the contrary. Students will learn how freewill requires the existence of evil, and that evil is really an absence, or corruption, of good. By the end of the course, students will be well equipped to give an apologetics for the problem of evil to both believers and nonbelievers alike.
