Thinking about gathering with us?

We meet every sunday @ 10am

We just want to make sure to answer some of the commonly asked questions, so you know what you’re getting into!

First, our gathering is about Jesus, and second, it’s about others. The whole thing is about Love is that it’s just not Love until you give it away.

So, when we gather, we’re not concerned primarily with how we like it, or how anyone’s dressed, or how great the coffee is; we’re chiefly concerned about connections.

We start out with a call to Worship, centering our thoughts on God and His Word. Then we hear the announcements—just the major things that are coming on the calendar. We offer our church family a few ways to give financially, and we welcome anyone who’s new and offer them a gift that they can pick up at the front desk as they’re headed home. Then we get into the meat and potatoes of our gathering: Connecting to God and to each other.

Then Pastor Eric Gonzales and the Worship team leads us in about 25 minutes of song—psalms and hymns and worshipful songs—during which our folks stand, or sit, or close their eyes and pray. Our Tech team projects the words to the songs on the screens up front so folks can sing along. We want folks to connect with God and His Truth during this time. As the music is ending, Pastor Dennis Rasper, or someone else from our fellowship, comes to the stage to lead us in a time of prayer.

As Pastor Dennis ends this prayer time, our Lead Pastor, Aaron Lawless, comes to the stage to open to us the Word of God and delivers a dynamic, timely message that God has laid on his heart. Our elementary-aged children will be dismissed just before the message, and they will go on over to The Ranch Children’s Ministry on to hear a message geared toward their age group. After a message of perhaps 40 minutes, Pastor Aaron has Pastor Eric and the Worship Team come back up to lead us in a song for reflection, and we close in prayer. In all, the gathering lasts about an hour and a half. It’s not uncommon for folks to hang out for some time afterward talking, enjoying coffee together, and praying. There’s a very sweet, family feel to our time together, and we’d love for you to join us and share in this. You see, we believe that what God is doing is gathering a Huge Family to Himself—it’s what He’s been about all along…

During your time with us we want to greet you warmly at the front door, show you around the church building, help you get your kids checked in to The Ranch Children’s Ministry, and find seats for you in the auditorium.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We believe that kids should have a blast learning about Jesus. At The Ranch, we seek to make this a priority. The first time that you visit, be sure to leave yourself five extra minutes to check your child in. We offer our kids programs with age-specific experiences for newborns through 5th graders.

If you have any questions about our gatherings or concerns you’d like to share with us, please fill out an inquiry page and we will get back with you quickly!
